Chicago-based Casati Gallery curates Italian modern furniture, lighting, objects, and art from the early 1900s to global contemporary. Throughout the years Casati has placed a special emphasis on Italian postwar modern design. The gallery was founded in 2003 by Ugo Alfano Casati in Chicago’s West Loop, and continues to introduce important and rare works by both internationally recognized and emerging designers including Franco Albini, Andrea Branzi, Studio BBPR, Luigi Caccia Dominioni, Ignazio Gardella, Angelo Mangiarotti, Fausto Melotti, Ico Parisi, Gio Ponti, Ettore Sottsass, Vittoriano Viganò, Jonathan Nesci, Philippe Nigro, and Laura Letinsky. In addition to the gallery program, Casati participates in international art and design fairs around the world.
