Since 2007 Caroline Van Hoek Gallery has specialized in contemporary jewelry. Located in Brussels, the gallery represents international jewelry artists. The program of exhibitions and fairs features a selection of jewelry, silverworks, and exclusive objects.

Caroline Van Hoek Gallery aims to provide outstanding jewelry by artists who are passionately involved in its creation. Elie Top and Caroline Van Hoek met almost a year ago with the idea to one day collaborate on a project together. Elie has worked alongside Yves Saint Laurent, Loulou de la Falaise, and Alber Elbaz, who launched his jewelry line
in 2015. About this unique bracelet reconstructed from a broken Suzanne Belperron cuff, Top recalls a Goethe quote he once heard from Karl Lagerfeld: “To make a better future, you must enlarge elements of the past.” The quote speaks to this piece of jewelry in two ways: it is reborn from the past—the broken cuff in chalcedony with pearls caged in silver and starred with white gold and diamonds is reintroduced as a bracelet again. And, mounted in its new shiny armor, it offers itself to the future in serenity.
